The Technical Specialist Heating Ventilation and Air Condition HVAC is acting as an expert for a specific and assigned topic or system. She/he is taking over full responsibility for the technical expertise of the assigned systems witin the department. She/he ensures that the quality of the systems (incl. documentation, equipment, process robustness, etc.) is meeting all requirements (incl. contract, technical standard and best practice). She/he is also responsible to ensure decision making with respect to the assigned systems.

• Your main task is to review the technical documentation and provide the necessary technical documentation within the defined timeframes and content;
• You ensure that all quality standards (e.g. SHE regulations, technical specifications, standards, laws) are met for the HVA/C system;
• You will also support the professional design and ensure the functional readiness of all components and systems for the installations under your responsibility;
• Important for your role is the constant quality control during the construction and assembly phase with regard to the requirements and guidelines (e.g. contracts, standards, specifications);
• Your strength is to pick up all interfaces and pass on information and knowledge to colleagues;
• A regular exchange with specialists in the field of HVAC is part of the job;
• You will assist in the preparation of technical specifications and the approval process of the assigned system. Your profile and background
  • You have a completed Master degree (University/Polytechnic) in mechanical engineering or comparable;
  • You have a constructive background and experience in the field of HVA/C Systems and desiging projects;
  • A structured way of working, independent, self-initiative and the knowledge of how to set priorities correctly in terms of the project is a matter of course for you;
  • You are able to work in a team and are prepared to carry out quality checks on site at regular intervals;
  • driver’s license is a requirement;
  • You are already qualified to work onshore and offshore (G20, G25, G37, G41, DGMM Offshore) or are in a position to acquire this qualification. Our recruiting process Our offer

    Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
