Position Overview:
As a Print and Graphic Design Intern at Karl Lagerfeld, you will assume a crucial role in supporting our design team. We are in search of an individual who is very interested in fashion and culture, particularly in the realm of artwork design for print, textiles, and graphic placements. The ideal candidate should possess technical skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, with the capacity to create (or a willingness to learn to create) repeat patterns. Collaboration and a helpful attitude are highly valued within our team, as the intern will be providing support to both the Manager of Print and Graphic Design and the Print and Graphic Designer. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Manager of Print and Graphic Design and the Print and Graphic Designer on a diverse range of projects. Assist in the development of print-ready materials across various fashion products. Demonstrate proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator for design tasks. Contribute to the creation of repeat patterns for textiles and prints. Embrace a helpful and supportive mindset, recognizing that teamwork and collaboration are integral to success. Undertake small projects and research. Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Enthusiastic attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Humble and team-oriented, prioritizing the collective success of the team.
