The mission of the Category Sourcing Manager - Recycle Plastic is to to enhance expertise in food grade recycling Olefin sourcing development in collaboration with global R&I.

You will be managing the PET recycling sourcing strategy and activities in America to meet the growing demand from regional plastic transformation. The role will also be in charge the rPET development in America to leverage the current footprint.

Global rHDPE/ rPP/ rPS rPET US/Canada/Mexico

Key responsibilities:

Build expertise on r-Olefin (HDPE, PP) food grade, including better understanding the process, should cost model, Market Intelligence. Co-build rPET sourcing strategy for US/Canada and Latam. Scouting the suppliers in each region with support from local team, drive the supplier engagement to enable the material development and land the strategic negotiation. Category management included category sourcing strategy (local/import, supplier allocations), Price/Price formula management, tender/nego, BCP, SRM, contracting, CO2 reduction for direct and indirect buying. Sustainability: Accountable to deliver recycled resin (rPS/rPO) global strategy and engage with business for validation on roadmap and collaborate with R&I and Quality on execution.

OVER JOU

You have strong (5-7 years) procurement experience with with purchasing, sustainability, or packaging related background.

Furthermore you have:

Experience with recycled plastic will be beneficial. Bachelor/Master degree in the field of Business, Procurement, or related ones Experience in project management, resilient, able to manage several projects at the time (long &short term) Fluent in English, Spanish as a big plus Ability to travel.
