In this role, you have the opportunity to be part of Philips Legal which spans a global network of around 250 professionals operating as one coordinated, internal law firm for Philips' businesses worldwide counseling on all legal matters. You are responsible for offering legal advice on corporate governance, litigation management, corporate finance, cash management, and corporate housekeeping to internal clients of the Corporate & Financial law team, such as Philipsâ management, Finance, Treasury, Communications, and Investor Relations.
In Your role you will be:
- Drafting and negotiating simple and straightforward contracts.
- Advising internal clients on various legal and business aspects (with an emphasis on Dutch corporate law).
- Handling dispute resolution matters, including advice on course of action and any contractual and statutory requirements.
- Pro-actively identifying risks and ensuring mitigation and/or prevention of such risks.
- Assisting and supporting senior legal counsels within the team on complex/ high risk projects.
- Carrying out legal research and drafting memos on findings to legal colleagues.

You're the right fit if you have:
- A master's degree in law and approximately 3 years of corporate law experience (work experience in a law firm is a plus).
- Experience in providing successful commercial and transactional support (including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts as well as legal and general support).
- Good business acumen and the ability to connect with people and other disciplines in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English, ability to communicate in Dutch.
- The ability to deal with a high workload and a âcan doâ mentality.
- A desire to work as âone of the teamâ and as a team player.
