Consultant System Architect requires a combination of the consultant profile (core expertise) with Principal Architecture subject matter specific expertise with focus on Information Architecture:

  • Help team to define and implement (technology) solutions defining functional and non-functional requirements (beyond technology)
  • Consolidate the architecture drives (i.e., defines system architecture scenarios)
  • Savvy to work in the field where Information Technology meets Operation Technology
  • Balance various perspectives to a broad range key stakeholder field
  • Resolve key technical impediments
  • Prioritize feature list of the architecture runway
  • Support portfolio management in terms of priority setting, benefit realization, dependencies, and transition architectures for ongoing business
  • Complement the IT architect role for the End2End architecture of IT Business Capabilities.


As a Consultant you:

  • Actively leverage your network, and develop and maintain management-level clients to proactively develop and convert opportunities.

As a System Architect you:

  • Driving harmonization and modular design of product architecture, product family platforms, and technology choices, compliant with the overall HealthSuite Reference Architecture and leveraging common platforms and technology choices.
  • Defining the scope and challenges with partners and identifying key issues.
  • Delivering a consolidated (reference) architecture: creating well-defined building blocks / system options & scenarios, choosing the optimal architecture, bringing to bear technology and orchestrate roadmaps
  • Ensuring a solid, up-to-date and usable documentation of the architecture; establishing architecture lifecycle management.
  • Acting within the entire context (business, organization, roadmaps, external world, overall ecosystem etc.) seeking for convergence, bringing together prior art and internal and external trends, remaining up to date with regard to professional knowledge
  • Guiding and inspiring others in and outside the architect community

Functie-eisen
  • Affinity working within a client-driven technical environment and in the high-tech or healthcare industry.
  • Understanding the Philips key business framework and operating model is a must.
  • Able to dialogue at the senior leadership level and bridge to a practical hands-on value creation approach
  • Experience applying architecture frameworks like TOGAF, ITIL, etc.
  • Having worked at a major consultancy is a pre
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and consulting skills, working across diverse and global teams
