Client is a large fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with market leading brands across three divisions: Essential Dairy and Plant Based Products, Waters and Specialized Nutrition.

Specialized Nutrition offers nutritional solutions with the shared goal of improving the health and well-being of vulnerable individuals, from the first day of pregnancy into old age.

The vacant role is in the Supply Point (factory) in Zoetermeer, which is responsible for producing over 400M units of medical nutrition products per year under a wellknown brand. Our patients can be fully dependent on our products for their sole source of nutrition which requires a high reliability and high quality as key standards. 

Functieomschrijving

As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you are a key member of the finance team team (8 fte) and

directly responsible for leading the rolling forecast and monthly close activities within Supply Point

Zoetermeer.

You will provide analysis in decision-making in all matters operational, financial, and strategic.

You will also be a business partner to one or more Plant Leadership Team (PLT) members and their

department managers, lead the forecast and budget process and play an important role in the delivery of

our annual and strategic Finance Roadmap.

• Lead the Rolling forecast, Annual operating plan and Month end closing process

• Risks & Ops management: Test business hypothesis, incl actions/mitigation plans & scenario planning

• Business Partnering activities for Production Departments

• Be the first point of contact with the Regional Finance team at DPA

• Owner of all internal reporting deliverables (FTE, Repair and Maintenance, Management Dashboard etc)

• Lead and coach the FP&A team (2 analyst)

• Business process owner for key internal controls

• Lead the BI implementation to improve analytics

• Set up continuous improvement mindset within FP&A activities

• Ensure a fluid collaboration with IBS on any related topic

• Be the first point of contact for Internal Audits

As we are going through transformation period in the factory and for finance function, we need a strong FP&A manager who is not only doing day-to-day tasks but able to support the change period

Functie-eisen

• Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or other

quantitative field

• Solid understanding and experience in Controlling, minimum 10 years

•Must be numerate, analytical and have good oral & written

communication skills

•Affinity with BI tools

•Strong Excel knowledge; SAP experience

• Strong analytical skills, rigorous and accurate

•Mindset for digitalization – to play a key role in introducing new tools and system to optimize

controlling activities

•Strong stakeholder management, ability to work with and influence stakeholder groups with

conflicting agendas

•A positive “can do” attitude.

•Comfortable with ambiguity and managing complexity in a fast-paced environment

•Able to switch between big picture and hands-on approach

•Highly dedicated with a continuous improvement mindset
