We design, build, manage, and operate highly scalable and complex software projects in the heart of the primary business processes of our clients, including Tennet, Eneco, Dura Vermeer, and Nederlandse Loterij. We are also actively involved in independent developments such as a platform for managing power network congestion and a platform for managing zero-emission last mile delivery.Our 24/7 operations department ensures that our systems process many billions of transactions a year while constantly optimizing the amount of resources used.We work on sustainability by focusing mainly on assignments in the heart of the energy transition, but also by helping our clients replace dozens of so-called legacy systems with forward-thinking, simple, cost-effective solutions for complex problems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign the architecture of specific cloud solutions in the core of the business of our clients.Own technical quality of product and process; set up, track, and monitor relevant metrics for quality and business success.Ensure documentation of the solution is up to date and shared with all relevant stakeholders.Own the roadmap for the client in close collaboration with the product owner.QA of the code and where needed hands-on development.Define development standards for the team(s) to follow.What We Are Looking ForProven overall 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years as a hands-on Architect or similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Azure or AWS; familiarity with GCP is a plus.Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and QA tools.Experience in complex enterprise environments and solutions is a plus.Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills; Dutch is a plus.Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).What We OfferImpactful projects: Be part of a company that is revolutionizing industries and shaping the future of technology.Collaborative culture: Work alongside brilliant minds, exchange ideas, and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive work environment.Competitive compensation: Receive a generous salary package, including up to a 20% yearly bonus and comprehensive benefits.Work-life balance: Benefit from flexible working hours and unlimited paid time off (PTO), allowing you to achieve harmony between your personal and professional life.Personal development and learning opportunities, as we embrace a growth mindset.Utilus is an equal opportunity employer.
