About the job

Icetubs is Europe's market leader in ice bathing, and our rapid growth requires a skilled Assistant Accountant to take ownership of critical financial functions. You'll handle everything from end-to-end bookkeeping to financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing valuable insights to drive decision-making. What you'll be doing

Bookkeeping:

  • Manage all financial bookings, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare payroll for our external partner.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.

Financial reporting and analysis:

  • Prepare periodic financial reports and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Controlling and compliance:

  • Develop and implement internal controls and processes.
  • Prepare product calculations and assist with financial audits.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the finance and operational teams to support business activities.

What we're looking for
  • At least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, with US GAAP a plus.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Fluent in English; advanced in Dutch.
