Are you the all-round warehouse worker who is:
- Available full-time (32 hours is negotiable)
- Possibly already certified for reach truck, forklift, and ept, or willing to obtain these certifications
- Fluent in Dutch or English
- Has already experience in logistic
As an all-round warehouse worker, you'll perform a variety of tasks, such as order picking, sorting, packing, and operating the reach truck and forklift. You'll start by collecting products (using a handheld scanner) to get to know the company and its products, and then you'll quickly be trained in other skills.
The tasks are divided in an 80/20 ratio. When there is no reach truck work, you'll help in the halls by collecting items. As a reach truck operator, you'll pick products from the shelves, frequently getting on and off the reach truck. Some heavy items may also be present in the halls.
You will work in the large warehouse of Marel. It is focused on designing, assembling, and installing machines for meat processing (including poultry, fish, and meat). The logistics process includes picking parts for in-house production as well as gathering spare parts for customers. You will find this is a nice and diverse environment filled with people with knowlegde on the products of Marel. With a good amount of curiosity, you can become one too
