Over de functie:

Als Financial Risk Consultant Specialist speel je een cruciale rol in het identificeren, beoordelen en beheren van risico's binnen de financiële sector. Je maakt gebruik van verschillende risk management frameworks en bent een spilfiguur in het ondersteunen van strategische beslissingen door middel van gedegen data-analyse. Je werkt nauw samen met stakeholders op verschillende niveaus en helpt de organisatie te voldoen aan complexe regelgeving.

Werkzaamheden:

  • Implementeren en verbeteren van risk management frameworks zoals COSO, ISO 31000, of Basel II/III
  • Uitvoeren van geavanceerde data-analyse en statistische modellering, bijvoorbeeld met Python, R, SAS, of VBA
  • Toepassen van risicomodelleringstechnieken zoals Monte Carlo-simulaties, VaR (Value at Risk), en stresstests
  • Adviseren van risicocomités en directieleden over risk management-strategieën
  • Zorgen voor naleving van relevante regelgeving, zoals Basel III, MiFID II, Solvency II, of Dodd-Frank


Vereisten:

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met risk management frameworks en het beheersen van risico's binnen de financiële sector
  • Technische vaardigheden in data-analyse en risicomodellering, met kennis van tools zoals Python, R, SAS, of VBA
  • Bekendheid met relevante regelgeving binnen de financiële sector
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring met stakeholdermanagement, inclusief advies aan risicocomités
  • Specifieke ervaring in een of meerdere risicodomeinen (zoals kredietrisico, marktrisico, of operationeel risico)
