Across diverse industries and tech stacks, our consultants combine technical mastery with a passion for applying artificial intelligence to create next-generation apps and value-driven solutions.We are seeking an experienced AI, Applications & Payments Solutions Architect with a strong technical foundation and sharp business acumen. You will help organisations elevate their software strategies by embedding AI capabilities, modern app architectures, and payment processing solutions (including Stripe) into their products and platforms.Key Responsibilities:Lead the review of client applications, technology stacks, and product strategies, with a focus on payment flows and monetisation models.Advise on integrating secure, scalable payment solutions leveraging Stripe APIs, webhooks, and related services, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards.Monitor emerging technologies, including AI, Generative AI, machine learning, and fintech/payment innovations, assessing their relevance and potential application within client solutions and strategies.Produce detailed reports providing guidance on enhancements, best practice, and risk mitigation for payment architecture and AI-driven features.Engage directly with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategy; challenge technical requirements, technology approaches, and security decisions in line with business goals.Review and interpret architectural approaches, infrastructure, and data flows; advise on best practice SDLC methodology and ways of working.Investigate architecture diagrams and technical documentation to identify opportunities for payment integration and optimisation.Maintain effective internal relationships with sales, technical, product, and delivery colleagues.Provide technical support during sales pitches and proposals, helping to identify and promote additional value-add services such as subscription billing, fraud prevention, and multi-currency support. You will be confident in providing technical support during sales pitches and proposals and will help to identify and promote additional value add services. Solutions Architect Requirements:Proven experience in software, application, and/or enterprise architecture methods and approaches.Strong background in payment platform integration, ideally with Stripe APIs and ecosystem.Experience developing, deploying, and operating software solutions in the cloud.Hands-on experience designing or integrating Generative AI solutions (e.g., leveraging large language models, prompt engineering, or building AI-powered application features).Familiarity with financial compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, GDPR) and secure payment flows would be a plus.Experience with Agile methodologies.Excellent communication skills, able to articulate product requirements and business strategy to technical and non-technical audiences.Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
