We're looking for a Backend Engineer who loves building powerful APIs, working deep in Golang and Python, and solving complex system design challenges in cloud-native, high-performance environments.This is your chance to work at the core of Europe's AI infrastructure — helping architect, automate, and scale backend systems that power workloads across Generative AI, HPC, and Digital Twins.What You’ll DoBuild and maintain performant backend services and APIs in Go and PythonDesign and implement systems architecture for scalable, multi-tenant infrastructureDevelop automation for provisioning, deployment, and CI/CD pipelinesWork on internal services that power our OpenStack- and Kubernetes-based platformsIntegrate with tools and platforms like NetBox, K0smotron, and monitoring systemsCollaborate with DevOps, platform, and AI engineering teams on infrastructure-level toolingWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience writing production backend code in GolangProficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or infrastructure toolingStrong knowledge of API design (REST/gRPC) and distributed system architectureExperience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code principlesFamiliarity with containerized environments and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)Solid understanding of systems engineering fundamentals and backend performanceBonus Points ForExperience building or integrating with cloud-native infrastructure (e.g. OpenStack, Kubernetes)Working knowledge of NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, driver stacks, or hardware provisioningFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC toolsKnowledge of observability practices (e.g. metrics, tracing, structured logging)Understanding of RBAC models and secure multi-tenant architecturesWhy Nebul?Help build one of the largest NVIDIA-powered AI cloud stacks in the BeNeLuxWork at the infrastructure layer — not just using the cloud, but building itJoin a sharp, fast-moving team with deep technical ownership and real impactFlexible hybrid work setup with a modern HQ near The HagueMust HavesBased in the Netherlands (or able to commute regularly)Valid EU work permit (no visa sponsorship)Fluent in English (Dutch is optional)Ready to help build the backend powering Europe’s AI future?Apply via Frank Poll and join us in shaping the infrastructure behind tomorrow’s AI breakthroughs.
