Head of Marketing – Benelux

Are you a self-motivated marketing leader, capable of working across an IT services-led portfolio to drive demand and support business growth goals? Do you have a strong understanding of the market, to help position Fujitsu in your part of the region, working closely with business and sales stakeholders? If so, this role could be for you

We are seeking a Field Marketing Lead for Belgium and the Netherlands, two important growth countries in the European region, which, together with Luxembourg, make up the Benelux part of our region. Please note this position is for employment only, free lance is not an option.

This role is part of the extended leadership of Benelux and requires a strong business mindset, combined with full-spectrum marketing expertise from strategy to execution. The country marketing plans align into a regional and global plan, which is executed in a matrix environment. Experience working in a global organization is preferred, as well as the ability to localize and customize programs for strategic alignment and local relevance.

The ideal candidate is familiar with B2B marketing in the Benelux market across private and public sectors, covering campaigns, events, programs, initiatives, and projects across the entire marketing mix—from ABM & DBM to demand generation, always focused on measurable results and business impact.

This role requires hands-on execution, the ability to see the bigger picture, and the agility to operate effectively in a matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Switching between strategy and operations to execute a well-rounded marketing approach.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams, especially Sales in Benelux, as well as European and Corporate Marketing teams.
  • Create and execute the Benelux marketing plan, aligned with country, regional, and global business goals.
  • Careful account selection and targeting based on business objectives.
  • Manage and execute multi-channel campaigns to generate new opportunities.
  • Deploy key marketing skills, including event management, digital marketing, web, and ABM.
  • Local activation of global and regional marketing campaigns for the Benelux customer base.
  • Lead management, CRM reporting, budget management, and tracking KPIs to demonstrate impact.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of Field Marketing Specialists to drive performance.
  • Travel across the BeNeLux region as needed to meet stakeholders and support marketing initiatives.

What you bring:

  • All-round marketing experience: strategy, tactics, planning, and execution.
  • Strong experience in branding & positioning, campaign execution, and agency collaboration.
  • Hands-on knowledge of paid & owned online advertising, content creation, and website management.
  • Ability to manage online and in-person events and measure success against defined goals & targets.
  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing, preferably in IT services.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to collaborate with business leaders.
  • Data-driven mindset—able to analyze reports and optimize marketing performance.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • Experience in global organizations and matrix structures is an advantage.
