As a Utilities Business Analyst at Methis Consulting, you'll work on high-impact projects for top-tier companies in the Utilities industry. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring seamless delivery of cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate has proven experience as business analyst in IT-implementation projects related to energy utilities (grid companies, energy suppliers).

  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications that guide our development teams.
  • Design and document comprehensive solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to guarantee the successful execution of your designs.
  • Validate implementations through thorough testing, ensuring the solution meets the desired business outcomes.
  • Engage in team collaboration, attending daily meetings to discuss project progress, solve challenges, and refine solutions with key users and stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Master's degree in a business economics, business engineering or technology-oriented field (ICT, business analytics, engineering, computer science)
  • Proven experience in Utilities sector, specifically as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in an IT-implementation project in utilities is a MUST requirement.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience.
  • Affinity with ERP (SAP ECC or S4, SAP IS-U), Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with working with JIRA or Azure Devops
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Perfectly fluent in English and Dutch.
