As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels across various warehouses, ensuring seamless inventory management and order fulfillment. Your role will involve a combination of data management, supplier coordination, and logistics planning. You will be an integral part of the supply chain team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check stock levels in different warehouses
- Check order files and make amendments if needed
- Order goods using MRP and existing contracts
- Control inbound deliveries and follow up with suppliers as necessary.
- Archive purchase orders and relevant documents
- Arrange transport to warehouses or between warehouses
- Draw up and keeping up of the shipping info for ordered products
- Draw up and keeping up the planning summary
- Draw up stock lists
- Participate in stock related meetings
- Visit warehouse(s)
- Manage and execute periodic Stock Reconciliations
- Manage and execute yearly physical stockcounts for your warehouse(s)
- Back up of other Stock Controllers
Language skills: C1 English
Experience:
- Have about 3 years of work experience within FMCG, of which at least 1 year in a similar position
- Knowledge of and work experience within FMCG, preferably from the Austrian market
- Experienced with activities in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehousing / Demand planning
- Work experience within an internationally operating company, preferably across several European countries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is a must-have requirement
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, as well as with (international) logistic partners, customers, and suppliers
- Result-oriented in achieving deadlines
- Meticulous and accurate
- Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within team environments
