Focus Engineering is currently looking for an Electrical Data Controller / Junior Electrical Engineer for one of the biggest shipbuilders of Europe in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland.

This job position can be filled either on a freelance basis or through a permanent contract.

As an Electrical Data Controller / Junior Electrical Controller you will be working on multi-billion projects in the maritime industry. This role offers the opportunity to grow into the role of an Electrical Engineer at our client.

The Job:

  • You are responsible for processing and controlling all the electrical data for these projects. This data is derived from contractors and other stakeholders
  • You will register all the data in the PDM/PLM system of the client and thus maintain a clear overview
  • You will be pro-actively communicating with all the engineering teams within the organization to control all the incoming data from external stakeholders
  • You will be composing and assigning the document control progress and other status reports

About you:

  • You have started or finished a degree in the Electrical discipline
  • You have a EU-passport
  • You are pro-active in your communication in order to interact with the internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the Dutch language is an advantage
