We challenge the status quo, embrace diverse expertise, and always deliver on our promises, in a responsible way.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to strengthen our Corporate Reporting & Accounting team within Group Finance. Your primary focus will be the financial administration and cost control of the holding entities. You’ll lead a small team (two Financial Accountants and two Accounts Payable Officers), set a high bar for accuracy and structure, and drive continuous improvement across processes and tooling. This role combines ownership of the numbers with light-touch team leadership.You’ll work closely with colleagues in FP&A, Tax, and Treasury, shaping robust, group-wide finance processes that support ERIKS’ growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly close and reporting for the holding entities; ensure timely, accurate submissions and clear variance analysis.Coordinate all administrative activities and controls across GL, AP, intercompany, and fixed assets.Prepare and coordinate audit deliverables for holding entities; be the primary contact for internal and external auditors.Coach and support your direct reports and provide hands-on guidance during closing, reconciliations, and process improvements.Monitor costs and contribute to the quarterly and annual budget cycles; challenge assumptions and improve forecasting quality.Provide administrative support to Treasury (e.g., cash movements, settlements, intercompany, and related reconciliations).Proactively identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, safeguard data integrity and the control environment.Improve processes and smart automation to achieve higher efficiency and consistency.Play an active role in ongoing finance transformation, for example optimizing Exact and OneStream, standardizing reporting, and simplifying the month-end process.What you bringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.At least five years of relevant experience in finance or audit, including team leadership (coaching, supervising, and developing others).Solid understanding of accounting principles, with a hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly structured work style.Strong interest in improving systems and processes.Proactive communicator who engages effectively at all levels of the organization.Resilient under pressure and able to prioritize and deliver during peak periods.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems, preferably Exact.
