Trident Search have partnered with a Cyber Security organisation who are currently looking for a Development Team Lead with experience with PHP or Golang to join and mentor their junior developers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex code independently, ensuring it meets the definition-of-done.
  • Adhere to our architecture, code styling, and secure coding standards.
  • Propose improvements to existing software, architecture, and processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
  • Fulfill specific team responsibilities as agreed upon with the manager.

Tasks

  • Write complex code according to project requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews for complex implementations.
  • Perform functional tests on modified code locally.
  • Manage version control using Git and GitLab.
  • Administer issues in GitLab.
  • Document technical solutions and design decisions in GitLab.
  • Collaborate with architects to enhance our architecture and software.
  • Participate actively in daily team stand-ups.
  • Contribute to bi-weekly sprint planning.
  • Engage in bi-weekly IT meetings.
  • Demonstrate interest in their domain through regular interactions with colleagues from other departments.
  • Coach junior and mid-level developers in both technical and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within and outside your team as needed.
