About the Job

As Junior Mechanical Designer you perform design activities, under the supervision of a (Sr.) Engineer, related to the preparation of 3D models and engineering drawings for furnace internals piping systems.

You will obtain all knowledge specific to the job e.g., in understanding the constraints in designing (high alloy) piping systems exposed to high temperatures and operating in the creep zone. You obtain knowledge of T.EN parametric 3D modeling in Solid Works and the T.EN furnace internals design standards.

Furthermore, you support/assist the (Sr.) Furnace Internals Engineer in any activity at his request. Also, you assist the (Sr.) Furnace Internals Engineer in preparing furnace internals-related MTOs and use the available design review checklist.

About You

You have a Technical College or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with:

• Excellent communication in English both in speaking as well as in writing. Being able to communicate in Dutch or German is an advantage.
• Have good developed spatial awareness and 3D modelling software handling skills.
• Like to work in an international highly specialized team environment
