AWS Utility Computing (UC) delivers product innovations ranging from fundamental services like Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to regularly introduced new features that set AWS apart in the industry.

As a member of the UC organization, you will contribute to the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services within AWS, including catering to customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial role in delivering web experiences that enhance the productivity of AWS developers globally as a part of the Editing Experience team.
  • Focus on improving the developer experience by utilizing the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to delight our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features from design to release and optimize tools and processes to enhance operational excellence for your team and integrators.

  • The Editing Experience team is responsible for cloud-based code authoring tools like smart editors supporting various languages with extensions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying production software
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Familiarity with software architecture, data structures, and modern design patterns
  • Good understanding of web standards
  • Experience with frontend technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Fluent in verbal and written English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enthusiastic about developer tooling and enhancing developer workflows
  • Proficiency in developing frontend applications at scale
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and Redux
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
  • Passionate about user experience
