At DAF Trucks in Eindhoven, we are seeking production workers at the Plaat Komponenten Fabriek (PKF) where the metal parts of DAF are manufactured. In this role, you'll work with a team to supply, drive, and stock the metal presses, as well as handle pre- and post-processing tasks in the DAF Trucks paint shop.

Joining our top-notch team as a production worker entails meeting certain expectations:

  • Prior experience as a production worker, preferably in metalworking
  • Availability for full-time work over an extended period in 3 shifts
  • Access to your own transportation for night shifts

As a Production Technician at DAF Trucks, your main tasks will involve handling metal parts such as hanging, inserting, loading, or unloading. Safety is paramount as you work collaboratively to ensure production targets are met. We are currently recruiting for two departments: the Press Hall and the Parts Paint Line (OLS). In the Press Hall, your responsibilities include operating a large metal press to shape metal sheets and sorting the parts afterward. On the other hand, at the Parts Paint Line, you will prepare parts for the spray booth, ensuring they are processed according to customer specifications and handling the post-coating tasks.

Work Environment

The DAF site in Eindhoven is vast, spanning about 900,000 m2 and employing over 7,000 individuals. With a production capacity of 60,000 trucks, DAF's new truck generation has been recognized as the 'International Truck of the Year 2022 & 2023.'
