The Bar Back position at LuminAir involves preparing the bar area and assisting Bartenders in serving drinks to create memorable experiences for customers. This role is crucial, especially with the recent renovations and rebranding of the rooftop bar & terrace, which will open to the public soon.

LuminAir's rooftop bar & terrace offers a unique experience, with ever-changing outside views and a distinctive interior. The venue focuses on exceptional mixology, custom drinks, and dishes inspired by sky and air elements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Bar Back at LuminAir, you will:

  • Welcome customers warmly and assist in building rapport to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Be knowledgeable about the menus to provide beverage recommendations and cater to customers' needs.
  • Handle food allergies and dietary restrictions with the utmost care.
  • Support Bartenders by preparing equipment, garnishes, and glasses.
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of various beverages following the bar's recipes.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.
  • Address customer feedback promptly to enhance their experience and handle complaints effectively.
  • Personalize service for returning customers based on their preferences.

2. Creating a Positive Atmosphere

  • Work harmoniously with the team to maintain a supportive and motivating workplace environment.

3. Daily Operations

  • Adhere strictly to regulations, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in your work area and guest spaces throughout the shift.
  • Accurately record transactions in the POS system and handle cash as per guidelines.
  • Replenish bar inventory and provide input to enhance customer and team experiences.
  • Assist Bartenders as required and prepare stations for service.
