Underwater Accoustic Data Processing Expert

As a young and rapidly expanding scaleup organization, Optics11 is currently seeking a Data Processing Expert with expertise in interpreting underwater surroundings from a signal processing perspective.

At Optics11, a dynamic technology company, we've designed cutting-edge sensor systems that offer innovative solutions for energy and defense sectors, involving precise measurements in demanding conditions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Data analysis of fiber optic acoustic and non-acoustic sensors
  • Creating data analysis algorithms like beamforming, event detection, and data classification
  • Assessing data from field trials and generating reports for stakeholders
  • Delving into extensive data sets to provide valuable insights efficiently
  • Supporting the software development team with solution/algorithms implementations

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in verbal and written English communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Solid understanding of mathematics, physics, and data science methods
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be hands-on when required
  • Capable of both independent work and collaboration

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in signal processing techniques and implementations
  • Ability to relate analyzed data to real-world phenomena
  • Advanced programming skills in languages like C, C#, C++, Python
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning is advantageous
  • Experience with CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LabView is a bonus
