We need you to be accurate behind the figures as well as having the ability to interact and network within the business.
- You will be required to visit various sites building your presence and visibility with your colleagues and stakeholders.
- Monday to Friday 40 hours a week
- Hybrid working applies 3 days in office, 2 days from home (100% office based if preferred)
What you do on a typical day
- Maintain general ledger accounts including the determination of journal entry requirements and
- Conduct preliminary review of financial reports prior to final close of general ledger.
- Conduct monthly general ledger account reconciliations and other financial controls in compliance with company policy.
- Perform analysis of financial results as part of the financial and operational review process.
- Research questions for management; investigate and explain variances to expectations.
- Understand and maintain assigned account/transaction or process from inception through approval, measurement, recording, reporting, and monitoring.
- Participate in crossfunctional work teams and continuously improve GXO Logistics processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting by auditing entries against financial activity and verifying that results are properly reported.
- Continually look to reduce company costs and spend associated with related responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

What you need to succeed at GXO
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance generally required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.
- 35 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a large, multicomponent company and in preparing and auditing complex financial reports.
- Fluent in English and basic Dutch would be preferred
