In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging different cultures and stakeholders, acting as a facilitator to ensure successful project outcomes. Your challenge as Product Developer

Our product developers are in control. You will be working together with local R&D and marketing teams to develop innovative branded products that will help to realize our growth ambition for nuts and peanutbutter. We have our own Pilot Plant where, under your supervision, our products will be tested. You are a fast worker and you are not afraid to make important decisions. Next to product development you work on process optimization and standardization to ensure best practices are shared throughout our different nut factories. You enjoy the working process and you understand the importance of being able to monitor, guard and make timely adjustments within the process when needed. You will be continuously working on the development of new products and optimization of our current product portfolio. The core of the role lies in the fact that in this position you will be working on larger projects that span multiple countries. Your main contacts will be the local R&D colleagues and the local marketing teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers and the local factories. Intersnack has six nut factories that you will closely work with, and the markets cover most European markets. The role also involves a significant amount of process optimization.

What should be your qualities?

You are interested in food, you have knowledge about the product and affinity with our process. Stakeholder management is right up your alley and you know how to connect with the right colleagues for the best result on the job. You are proactive and you know how to keep going. Leading multiple projects is like a walk in the park for you and you know from beginning to the end which step in the process is up next. You go all-out for the best results and you are not afraid to think outside the box. You are approachable and curious. We are looking for a fulltimer who's willing and able to travel (up to 30%).

Furthermore, we ask the following from you as Product Developer:

Bachelor's or Masters's degree in Food Technology, or a similar degree;fluent in English, Dutch and/ or German is an advantage; you are eager to learn and open to feedback;3 – 5 years international work experience in the food industry;preferably experience in snacks / bakery / chocolate confectionary, B2C;projectmanagement with clear demonstration of key areas like risk management / timings / stake holder management;demonstration of product implementation / process improvement in food industry.
