Your Role

As a lead engineer, you will be involved in our most challenging construction projects. You will be the technical conscience of the group of designers. From your expertise, you will participate in major projects and tenders within Dura Vermeer National Projects. You may also be called upon as a specialist for complex issues within our regional projects. You should be able to independently manage your tasks while enjoying leading and mentoring a team of designers. You understand that your field evolves rapidly. Ideally, you are also active in cross-company working groups and have a passion for automating your field.

Your Workplace

As a Lead Engineer, you will work on various infrastructure projects nationwide with dedicated colleagues from different disciplines. You will be part of the Civil Design department within the Design cluster. The cluster currently consists of around 120 colleagues, helping us achieve our goal as a design-oriented builder. Projects may include the renovation of the Heinenoord Tunnel, the dike reinforcement projects, and contributions to the energy transition.

Your Skills

  • Minimum HBO degree with additional education in Civil Engineering
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience in the civil sector
  • Extensive experience with structural software such as SCIA, AxisVM, and DIANA
  • You communicate clearly on your advice and can defend it at a high level
