We are looking for awarehouse employee for Fed-Ex in Utrecht that likes to learn. Youlike to follow training courses and get a forklift certificate. Youcan handle responsibility well and you work precise and accurately.You have an eye for detail and like to roll up your sleeves. Theworking hours are from 14:30 to 20:00 or from 15:30. This way youcan easily combine this job with astudy.

  • You speak Dutch and/orEnglish;
  • You can request a VGB (this takesabout 3 weeks);
  • You are available at least 3days a week.
what will youdo

You've probably seen a FedExvan drive by sometimes. These vans not only deliver packages, butalso pick them up from different customers. At the end of the daythese vans arrive at the warehouse in Utrecht. As a warehouseemployee, you and your colleagues will unload all these vans. Allpackages are placed on a conveyor belt. You then use a scanner tosort all the packages so that they end up in the right container togo to Schiphol. Before you start working, you follow a number oftraining courses. You will then learn how to deal with dangerousgoods and how to process airfreight.

  • Loading/unloading;
  • Sortingpackages with a hand scanner;
  • Follow trainingcourses and obtain a forkliftcertificate.

FedEx is a majorinternational mail order company offering logistics and courierservices. They operate by ground, sea and air, including heavyfreight. As a warehouse employee, you are indispensable in this.You get the opportunity to continue to develop. This way you canfollow training courses and obtain certificates.
