At the end of 2023 we finished construction of our first solar park and windfarm, which are now exporting power.

As a Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, contributing to the success of our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute the procurement strategy aligned with the company's sustainability goals and costefficiency targets.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure a reliable supply of renewable energy equipment and materials.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, negotiation, and strategic sourcing while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Drive the adoption of sustainable practices within the procurement process, such as sourcing renewable materials and products.
  • Supply Chain Efficiency: Streamline supply chain processes, monitor inventory levels, and ensure ontime delivery of materials to support project deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to legal, ethical, and environmental standards and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, anticipating potential disruptions and implementing contingency plans

Budget Management:
Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement.
  • Renewable Energy Knowledge: Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and energy storage technologies.
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Supplier Network: A wide network of suppliers and knowledge of sourcing renewable energyrelated equipment and materials.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and leading crossfunctional procurement teams.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms.
  • Sustainability Commitment: A passion for sustainability and experience in integrating sustainable practices into procurement processes.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to renewable energy

Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively.
