Join our international team working on the next generation banking applications within the Daily Banking tribe at ING. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in creating scalable, resilient, and real-time banking processes, offering instant info to millions of ING savings account holders in the Netherlands. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the technical backbone of our front-end lit applications and Java API's that cater to millions of customers through various channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drive innovation to enhance digital channels and customer experience Collaborate with various stakeholders including UX designers, visual designers, and product owners Utilize technologies like Kotlin, Java, Spring, Azure, Prisma, Oracle, Kafka, Lit Webcomponents, and NPM for backend and frontend solutions Implement automation, continuous delivery, and deployment utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify, OpenShift, and Kubernetes Take ownership of refining, coding, testing, and deploying work in on-premise and cloud environments Previous lead development experience is beneficial Address technical and functional challenges with motivation and a drive for innovation Work collaboratively in agile multidisciplinary teams

How to Excel:

Extensive experience in software development (backend and frontend) with a track record of 6+ years Proficiency in (test) automation, continuous delivery, and deployment tools and processes Embrace a DevOps mindset in refining, coding, testing, and deploying own work Strong analytical skills and conceptual/architectural understanding Stay updated on software development trends and technologies Possess excellent social and communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders
