This exciting position is calling your name. As an Engineering Manager for the Front-end team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of a new team of core and senior Software engineers. In addition to leading the team, you'll also mentor front-end engineers, focusing on their growth and creating a supportive work environment. Your responsibilities include driving innovation, managing the technological lifecycle, and staying updated on cutting-edge front-end technologies to develop scalable digital solutions. You'll also engage in thought leadership, handle stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the engineering community through speaking events, driving continuous innovation and impactful solutions.

Sounds good, what do I need to bring to the table?

To excel in this role, you need a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, specializing in front-end technologies for business-critical systems, along with at least 2 years of informal leadership experience. Proficiency in developing large-scale applications, a solid understanding of APIs, and a proven track record in guiding data-driven decisions are essential. You must have mastery of JavaScript-based front-end technologies, including React, as well as expertise in browser APIs and cross-mobile platform development.

Being a people person, you understand the nuances of managing versus coaching and possess qualities such as empathy, decisiveness, humor, and honesty. Your exceptional communication skills, both online and in person, set you apart in this digital age.
