This is a position in Arnhem for one year for 32-36 hours per week. If we both agree that things are going well, there is a possibility of a permanent contract.

What will you do?

As the environment manager, you will ensure that the neighborhood and the homes you are responsible for are livable and well-maintained. Your focus is on livability, resident participation, prevention, and enforcement (clean, intact, and safe). You organize activities with residents for different target groups that can contribute to the livability in the neighborhoods. You independently handle situations of nuisance and social issues, monitor compliance with agreements made with residents, enforce quality agreements of the environment, identify deviations from the agreements, and address residents' behavior.

For both residents and Portaal, you are the eyes and ears in the neighborhood. This means that you are approximately 70% of your working time in the neighborhood. You build a network both within and outside the organization, with whom you collaborate extensively. This includes neighborhood police officers, municipal neighborhood caretakers, and employees of social neighborhood teams.

The team in Arnhem consists of 4 environment managers. Together with rental consultants, social managers, inspectors, environment advisors, and colleagues from real estate, you contribute to a good and affordable community living in the neighborhoods of Arnhem.

What do we offer you?

  • A challenging position for 32-36 hours per week, initially for a year, with the possibility of a permanent contract;
  • A monthly salary between the gross per month based on 36 hours per week (scale F of the collective labor agreement for Housing Services); The salary is a minimum gross €3,114.00 and a maximum of €3,892.00 per month.
