Our client is a multinational company in the Manufacturing and Production industry based in Den Bosch. They operates in the field of automation, healthcare, and electronic components.

Their automation division produces a wide range of products and solutions for industrial automation, including sensors, switches, control systems, robotics, and safety equipment.

These products are used in manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.

Functie

In this role as Senior Buyer a.i.

you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining your Product portfolio to achieve the Purchasing KPI's on short and medium term
  • Ensuring the purchasing data in our systems is correct for all parts of the commodities in your scope (mainly finished goods, mechatronics and catalogue items)
  • Supporting and coordinating New Product Introductions (NPI's) for offtheself items in close collaboration with planners, product managers and other purchasing colleagues
  • Supporting the daily operations while cooperating with internal stakeholders from Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain, Services and Warehousing/Shipping
  • Supporting the development of the Purchasing Department
Profiel

For this role as Senior Buyer a.i.

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Supply Chain Management/ Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a tactical/operational purchasing role
  • Experience with Industrial control, power supplies and/or mechatronics (eg cables, motors connectors, ..)
  • Previous experience with negotiating which leads to strong commitment and partnership within internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with ERP systems, contract management, price management and purchasing project management
  • Proficiency in English
