They are a global provider of integrated operations, maintenance, modification and asset integrity solutions. They are committed to improving asset performance, safety and cost-efficiency for clients throughout the asset life cycle.

Functie

In this role as Operational Buyer a.i.

you will be responsible for:

  • Managing supplier relationships through regular communication, reviewing contracts, handling complaints, and collaborating to resolve issues
  • Overseeing data management and reporting by tracking inventory levels, maintaining accurate part numbers and pricing, and generating reports on supplier performance
  • Identifying costsaving opportunities through negotiation with suppliers, exploring alternative sources, and managing spending on lowvalue items
  • Ensuring compliance with the company purchasing policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders to confirm order details and lead times
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process
Profiel

For this role as Operational Buyer a.i.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement roles
  • Strong understanding of purchasing principles and best practices
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Technical knowledge
  • SAP knowledge (Baseware and PowerBI are a plus)
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
