Functieomschrijving

Operators check the steps in the process technologyprocess and together ensure a good end product. You have differenttasks: you monitor the progress of the production process of thefactory where you work.

A process operator issomeone who is responsible for the smooth running of automatedprocesses in a production process, for example in thepharmaceutical, (petro-)chemical or food industry. The processoperator is the person who checks whether the process is runningsuccessfully and intervenes if necessary.

What does a Process Operatordo?

The main task of a Process Operator is tocontrol and monitor the production process, so that it runssmoothly. His precise tasks can vary from operating relativelysimple machines to overseeing complex production processes from acontrol room.

  • The Process Operator'sduties generally include the followingactivities:
  • Monitoring and where necessaryadjusting production processes, both on site (at the installationor machines) and in the control room
  • Carryingout quality measurements, possibly usingsamples
  • Identifying and reporting on defects,errors or other details in theprocess
  • Supervising the correct technicalexecution by shift workers
  • Carrying out minorrepairs
  • Calling in the technical service orother involved parties when major repairs arerequired
  • If necessary, perform a 'shutdown'(the shutting down of the machines or partthereof)
  • Checking the hygienic condition andcleaning the equipment if necessary
  • Provideguidance to shift workers
  • Compliance withsafety regulations and HACCPlegislation
  • Possibly submitting improvementproposals to optimize the productionprocess

In this position you work ina production environment/ wash street. Of course you also check theproducts.

In addition, your dailyactivities as a Cleanroom Process Operator consistof:

  • Cleaning of high tech partsaccording to instructions andprotocols
  • Carrying out assembly and cleaningactivities
  • Performing qualitymeasurements
  • Working on the basis of workinstructions and technical drawings(Powerpoint)

Your working hours areMo - Fr between 7h00 - 18h00.
