Your Role
Join us as a Java Developer and play a key role in building cutting-edge systems at Schiphol. The technology stack is being updated to align with our IT objectives of 'Flexibility & Reliability'. Your approach to problem-solving and finding solutions is highly valued. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to developing a modular monolith and engaging in Domain Driven Design conversations.
- Creating cloud-agnostic applications for Kubernetes environments.
- Designing an event-driven distribution system.
- Collaborating closely with our technology partner at an offshore location.
- Introducing innovative ideas and strategies to tackle complex challenges.
The applications are Java-based, rely on a relational database, and are deployed in containers. We have planned multiple application migrations to ensure seamless operations. Alongside platform enhancements, we will enhance our CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and work methodologies.
Your Profile
Join Schiphol's mission in making travel safe and sustainable. Your analytical mindset, logical reasoning capabilities, and attention to detail are crucial for this role. Key requirements include:
- Java Development: At least 5 years of relevant Java development experience (mandatory).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps experience.
- Spring Boot: Hands-on experience in Spring Boot for building robust applications (preferred).
- Front-end Development: Proficiency in React and TypeScript for front-end development tasks.
- RESTful APIs: Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Benefits
- Competitive gross monthly salary of € 4744 to € 6582 (Scale 12).
- Year-end bonus equivalent to a 13th month's pay.
- Option for a 36-hour work week with 4 days of 9-hour shifts.
- €3.00 net daily allowance for remote work.
