Job Description

Embarking on a career journey with the HSO International HR team means continuous learning and growth. You'll be a valuable member of a multicultural HR team dedicated to nurturing your professional development by broadening your expertise in international HR and recruitment. We are in search of an HR officer to enhance our human capital management and employee engagement strategies, offering opportunities for personal development and career progression in return.

As a member of the HSO International HR team, you'll play a crucial role in upholding our organizational values and fostering a positive, inclusive work atmosphere for our diverse, multicultural staff.

This position is ideal for individuals aiming to enhance their skills and proficiency in various aspects of International HR and Recruitment.

Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Creating new hire offers/salary proposals.
  • Assisting with Employee application for 30% ruling.
  • Helping with Employee VISA requirements and relocation process.
  • Conducting onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Organizing and overseeing the induction/onboarding days for new hires.
  • Backup for processing the monthly payroll.
  • Supporting HSO International Events & Trainings.
  • Updating internal databases and Excel.
  • Assisting with end-of-year reviews and administrative tasks.
  • Supervising employee engagement-related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Providing support for administrative audits.
  • Implementing HR documents, policies, and procedures (employee personal records, employee policies, and onboarding guides).

Requirements

Essentials:

  • Residing in the Netherlands.
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
  • Capability to travel to the head office when necessary.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written), Dutch language skills are a bonus but not mandatory.
  • 4+ years of HR work experience.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Effective prioritization and organizational abilities.
  • Independent and proactive mindset.
  • Clear and transparent communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Presentable, professional, and punctual demeanor.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Desired Experience / Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within HR.
  • HR and/or Administration Diploma or Degree or related studies.
  • Familiarity with Dutch Law and regulations.
