Responsibilities
  • Reading error codes displayed on the device
  • Swapping out hardware as necessary
  • Tracing faults using diagnostic devices and software
  • Upgrading components when required
  • Assisting the support team of other service providers
  • Managing inventory efficiently
  • Supervising the flow of stocked goods within the company
  • Maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Ordering inventory, managing storage, and controlling stock levels
  • Updating inventory records accurately
  • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly IT stock reports
  • Producing trend analysis reports on common end-user device failures
  • Providing insightful analysis and limited project input as a team member
  • Evaluating unique situations and giving technical and procedural recommendations
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with warranty hardware repair of HP, Dell, and Lenovo devices, including parts ordering and defective part return
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems for issue resolution or PC rebuilding
  • Familiarity with OSX, iOS, and Android systems for end-user support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, antivirus software, and desktop services
  • Ability to use knowledge articles for resolving application issues
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Intermediate IT troubleshooting skills
  • Exercises judgment to determine appropriate actions
  • Customer-oriented with excellent service skills
  • Fluent in English and local language
  • Detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team on multiple projects
