As an inventory controller, your task is to maintain proper inventory management with the right balance between our needs and those of the customer(s). You are the central figure within the company concerning all inventory and layout issues. In addition to physical inventory counts, you ensure there is always enough space for incoming shipments:

  • Monitor inventory levels of consumables and replenish as necessary
  • Maintain pick-face locations
  • Responsible for cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts
  • Investigate issues related to missing inventory to fulfill customer orders
  • Ensure there is adequate space for incoming shipments

Also create inventory reports for customers and/or management.
