At IHC Piping in Krimpen a/d Ijssel, we are expanding our team due to increased workload at our factory and are in need of a Logistics Employee.
What will you be doing?
As a logistics employee, you play a crucial role in our operational process. You collaborate with other departments and post-processors to ensure timely delivery of products to the right location.
You are capable of making operational decisions, leading simple process improvements, and enhancing performances sustainably. You act as the link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, with a mission to ensure goods are delivered or stored in our factory efficiently, safely, and punctually. Your responsibilities include operations in our Warehouse in Krimpen a/d Ijssel, and occasional support at our Kinderdijk location.
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for inbound and outbound goods flow. Preparing deliveries for post-processors, customers, and assembly departments in Sliedrecht, Kinderdijk, and Krimpen a/d Ijssel. Checking deliveries, identifying discrepancies, and reporting them. Organizing and managing transportation of products. Maintaining warehouse and expedition area (5S). Keeping records of all movements. Managing stock of consumables. Providing support for production activities.What do you bring to the table?
A completed relevant education with several years of work experience. Proficiency in Dutch language, both spoken and written. Driver's license B (BE/C/CE is a bonus). You are naturally a team player, organizer, strong communicator, analytical, and customer-oriented. You collaborate well, are proactive, and take initiative. You are flexible, results-driven, and maintain a tidy work environment.What we offer:
A gross monthly salary between €3064 and €3445 +8% holiday allowance. Good work/life balance with 40 vacation days (including 13 ADV days) and the option to buy or sell leave days. Additionally, you will receive a travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer. You will have discounts on supplementary health insurance from VGZ and profit-sharing schemes. A defined benefit pension plan via PME that covers matters in case of unfortunate events like death, disability, or unemployment. Royal IHC has a Social Fund that partially covers healthcare and related expenses not included in your insurance. You will have an education budget of €1500 every three years. We have our own 'IHC Academy' offering a wide range of internal and external training opportunities. Unlimited access to our onsite gym in Kinderdijk (upon submission of sustainable employability day).-
