This position reports to

Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide accounting, reporting, and consolidation expertise. Each day, you will support in accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement preparation and review follow-up on accounting issues. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. This role is contributing to the Codian Robotics unit in Ede. Codian Robotics BV is The Leading Innovator for Pick & Place robots. We positioned under B&R, part of the ABB group, a global leader in industrial robotics and automation. At Codian Robotics we develop and manufacture industrial robot mechanics that are sold all over the world. We are a flexible, innovative, ambitious and growing company You will be mainly accountable for:
• Posting A/P invoices, create and post A/R invoices, posting of banks, other postings.
• Act as counterpart for ABB HR.
• Contributing to the implementation and improvement of accounting policies relevant to your area and level of expertise.
• Executing established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB group policies and local instructions.
• Performing quality checks on financial reporting data, including analytical review of major fluctuations, and liaising with internal and external auditors on accounting and reporting issues.
• Conducting investigations and reconciliation of accounting transaction, as necessary, and facilitating the resolution of accounting and reporting issues. Reporting to the Local Finance manager, you will join a small high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Your main stakeholders are: Managing Director, Finance manager and Division Controller. The work model for the role is onsite. It is possible to work 1 day per week remote.

Qualifications for the role
  • You have a professional bachelor's level of working and thinking.
  • You have minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting and reporting.
  • You are skilled in / you enjoy working with ERP systems such as SAP and AFAS. Excel has no secrets for you, knowledge of HFM is a pre.
  • Proven experience of accounting with NLGAAP and USGAAP
  • You are at ease communicating in Dutch and English.
  • You hold a current permanent work permit in the Netherlands.
