Senior Statistician

(Location: Utrecht, Full-time Position)

We are searching for a seasoned biostatistician with proven experience in handling clinical trials. Our new Senior Statistician will play a crucial role in providing statistical assistance for clinical trials, designing trial protocols, crafting statistical analysis plans, performing statistical analyses of trial data, and creating reports to aid in the advancement of new products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of clinical trial protocols that align with regulatory standards, scientific objectives, and ethical guidelines.
• Develop statistical analysis plans encompassing sample size calculations, randomization procedures, and statistical techniques for efficacy and safety evaluations.
• Analyze clinical trial data utilizing appropriate software tools like SAS and R.
• Collaborate with study teams to offer statistical direction on study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of trial results.
• Prepare and deliver statistical plans and study reports.
• Provide statistical expertise for regulatory submissions.
• Ensure the precision, validity, and comprehensiveness of data analyses.
• Keep abreast of the latest statistical approaches and regulatory mandates.
• Possess a master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related disciplines (PhD preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and analyzing (clinical trial) data.
• Thorough and extensive knowledge of statistical methods applicable to clinical trials, including expertise in survival analysis, mixed models, and nonparametric techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS and R.
• Familiarity with regulatory requisites for clinical trials, encompassing FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal proficiencies, with the capacity to perform effectively in a team-centric setting.
• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
