Join the IJmuiden team as a Site Manager, overseeing daily service operations in renewable energy with Siemens Gamesa, a global leader in wind power solutions.
The Site Manager reports to the Service Operations Manager and is part of the site team in IJmuiden.
The Site Manager has operational responsibility for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) on Site, with decision-making authority for daily Service operations. Provide visible EHS leadership within the Site and Project.
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and regulations for a safe environment. Responsible for meeting Safety, Schedule, Cost, and Quality targets.
Manage Risks and Opportunities at the site, implementing countermeasures when needed. Manage customer relationships on-site, representing SGRE and the Service project.
- Contribute to improving Service KPIs and reporting.
Drive the transition to sustainable energy future with Siemens Gamesa, making a positive impact on the environment and communities globally.
As a Site Manager, you play a crucial role in the operation of wind turbines at Hollandse Kust Zuid, contributing to the success of this project.

Siemens Gamesa is proud to be part of the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind park, a significant project for renewable energy in the Netherlands. This offshore wind park in South Holland is essential for achieving renewable energy goals, providing power to households.
Enjoy a rotational schedule of 5 days on, 5 days off, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in offshore wind or oil and gas operations
- Previous experience as a site manager managing a team
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Driving license B and own car
- Experience with ERP systems, Office 365, and Microsoft applications
- Fluency in English and preferably Dutch
- Residing within 50 km of IJmuiden
- Technical background, preferably in renewable energy
- Salary: €4800 – €5500 per month based on full-time (excluding add-ons, holidays, etc.)
- Work hours: 5 days on, 5 days off rotation
- Location: IJmuiden — local living required (within 50 km)
- Start date: flexible
- Contract: 1 year with Yacht, possibility of extension or permanent contract
