We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall guest satisfaction of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards
- Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance to ensure quality and consistency
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Address any cleaning issues or maintenance needs promptly and effectively
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the procurement department for replenishment as needed
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff rotations and breaks to ensure adequate coverage
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least [insert number] years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
