About the role


We are seeking experienced Refund Team Members who will assist our travellers through the final phase their tax-free shopping journey.

Refund Team Member responsibilities include resolving queries, recommending solutions, and guiding (frequent) travellers by being a reliable and knowledgeable partner for them.

To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who can earn our customers trust and loyalty.


What you'll do

  • Ultimately, you'll help us figure out what it is that make people tell their friends about Global Blue. You are their advocate and champion
  • Respond to travellers queries in a timely and accurate way via the dedicated software solution
  • Inform customers about cash and noncash options
  • Own the refund experience across all touchpoints
  • Engage with travellers, customs and other stakeholders to collect, process and document the Tax Free Form requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of customer records and interactions
  • Demonstrate selfstarting capabilities and strong collaboration skills
  • Collaborate with the supervisors and deputy airport manager to drive continuous improvement

About you

  • At least 3 years of experience in customer success, or similar CS role
  • Good understanding of traveller needs and challenges in a fastpaced environment of an airport and align solutions accordingly
  • Active team player, selfstarter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
  • Strong analytical, processoriented, and problemsolving skills
  • Highly adaptable and quick to learn new information
  • Passion to dive into the topic of tax refund headfirst and getting to know all about it
  • Great communication and inter personal skills
  • Patience when handling large amounts of travellers and cases
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a significant plus
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule as needed
  • Are open to flexible working hours (irregular between 6:00 22:00) including weekend and public holidays
  • Have lived in Netherlands for the past eight years as this is requirement for Schiphol pass which you need when working at Schiphol
