What will you do as a Pedagogue at Basalt?

As a Pedagogue, you will work in the Therapeutic Toddler Group with children aged between one and a half to five years.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of pedagogues, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, a pediatric physiotherapist, a social worker, an educational psychologist, and a rehabilitation doctor. Within child rehabilitation, you will liaise with the child's support system, collaborate, coordinate, and provide advice.

• You will document your findings in HiX following the ICF method.
• You will work with your colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating, and challenging environment where children can develop optimally.
• You will organize individual and group activities in various developmental areas to address the child's goals. These activities encompass social and emotional functioning, cognition, play skills, and personal care, offered alongside or in combined treatment with therapists' activities within a structured program.
  
  

Where will you work?

You will be based in Gouda (Care Unit 9). The Gouda location is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, and car. The Gouda site comprises small, close-knit teams that collaborate closely. The child rehabilitation of Delft and Zoetermeer also falls under Care Unit 9.

What do you need?

• A bachelor's degree in Social Pedagogical Assistance or Pedagogy.
• Knowledge of and experience with children's developmental stages.
• Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team is advantageous.
• Ability to work based on the Floorplay method or willingness to deepen your knowledge in this area.

In addition, you should possess the following competencies: customer focus, integrity, flexibility, creativity, sensitivity, teamwork, and independence.

What do we offer?

An employment contract for a specific period initially for one year, with the possibility of a permanent contract. The Hospital Collective Labor Agreement applies, and we provide benefits such as a year-end bonus, travel expense reimbursement, and a tablet and bicycle plan.

The salary for a full-time position (36 hours) ranges from a minimum of €3,199 to a maximum of €4,540 gross per month in function group 50, depending on experience. Calculate your net salary.
