Your Role:

As an
air freight specialist, you play a pivotal role in orchestrating the logistics operations within our company. Your responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient transportation processes.

Key aspects of your role include:

Development and Planning: You will be tasked with developing and planning transportation strategies, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Coordination and Management: You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics process in collaboration with our network of logistics service providers, ensuring seamless execution of operations.

Documentation: You'll prepare import and export documentation required for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth transit of goods.

Collaboration with Carriers: Building and maintaining strong relationships with global and local carriers will be essential, as you coordinate shipments and negotiate terms to meet our clients' needs.

Customs Cooperation: You'll collaborate closely with customs agencies on matters related to import and export, ensuring adherence to regulations and facilitating the smooth flow of goods across borders.

Warehouse Coordination: Working closely with warehouse teams, you'll manage notifications and ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods, maintaining optimal inventory levels.

System Management: You'll be responsible for creating and updating goods deliveries in our systems, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of shipments throughout the logistics process.

Your role as an air freight specialist is crucial in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations, ultimately contributing to the success of our company and satisfaction of our clients.

What do we ask:

• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• You have at least 2 year of (demonstrable) work experience in the logistics world.
• You have knowledge of import/export and customs formalities (airfreight)
• Customer service oriented
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Dutch or English language, spoken and written
• Available fulltime (40 hours per week).
