Choreographer & Dance Instructor for Amateur Student Musical Foundation


Are you a dance enthusiast with a passion for creativity and a knack for guiding amateur performers? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Choreographer & Dance Instructor for our amateur student musical foundation.

This exciting opportunity entails collaborating with a team of four other creatives, including two theatre directors, a conductor, and a vocal coach, to bring our chosen musical
, "The Prom" to life.


Position Details:

Time Frame: September 2024 to June/July 2025 (project-based), rehearsals on Friday evenings.

Early Availability: Required for decision-making processes (e.g., audition plans)

Target Audience: Amateur students with an average age range of 18-30
-
Compensation:5.000€ for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a creative vision for the choreography and dance elements of the selected musical.
  • Guide participants through the rehearsal and staging process, ensuring a cohesive and engaging performance.
  • Maintain open communication with the foundation's board to align on project goals and expectations.

Qualifications:

-
Experience: Preferably, experience working with beginner or amateur dancers.

Creativity: Ability to bring original, innovative ideas to the table.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and approachability are essential.

Formal Training: While formal dance teaching training is not mandatory, practical experience in the field is highly valued.
