Job Description: As a Kitchen Steward with RGV Hotel Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in one of Amsterdam's prestigious hotels. Your duties will include:

  • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils promptly and efficiently
  • Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation surfaces, equipment, and storage areas
  • Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Emptying trash and recycling bins regularly to maintain cleanliness
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and orderly workspace

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen steward or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and holidays
  • Good physical condition to stand for long time and lift heavy objects when necessary
