Job description Our client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Product Manager to join their Product Management department. In this role you will be responsible for driving the successful introduction of new products and redesigns, whether initiated by clients or internally within the organization. Your mission will encompass overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to the first production run.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Leading new product and redesign projects across the organization.
  • Tracking planning and communication with the project team.
  • Filling customer portals with details on recipe, packaging, logistics, and all necessary information for product development.
  • Checking artwork designs for legal requirements and technical standards, liaising with suppliers if necessary.
  • Coordinating marketability and palatability testing, arranging samples, and aligning on follow-up actions.
  • Coordinating tenders and advising customers on the best fitting product range, in collaboration with sales and production locations.
  • Handling GS1 contact.
  • Checking and aligning with the customer on all included master data, tray stickers, pallet labels, etc.
  • Ensuring all steps from the New Product Development (NPD) and redesign processes are followed as described in the quality manual.
  • Serving as the first point of entry into the Project Management (PM) team for specific customers and products as determined.
  • Initiating and managing process improvement projects, both specific to Project Management and organization-wide.
  • Proposing amendments, in collaboration with Trade Marketing (TM) and Sales, to optimize the performance of both customers and the organization's product portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Project Management, etc).
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in product development or related areas within an FMCG company.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of product development processes and quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (German and/ or French is a plus) Working conditions
