Fijnmechanische productiemiddelen voor medische hulpmiddelen ontwikkelen, nieuwe klanten begeleiden in de introductie van prototypes. Als manager in een team van vijf engineers spar jij over mechanische gereedschappen, het productieproces tot aan de complexe akoestische producteigenschappen van het portfolio. Hoe maak jij als Manager Production Engineering het verschil?

Wij zijn op zoek naar een leider van de Production Engineering die met een gedreven en kundig team succesvol projecten tot een goed einde kan brengen. Het team waar je leiding aan geeft bestaat uit 5 engineers. Jij neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor jouw team door naar hen te luisteren en hen te ontwikkelen waar dat nodig is in een coachende stijl. Jouw verantwoordelijkheid voor het maximale resultaat uit jij richting jouw team door hen zo productief mogelijk te laten werken, hen daarvoor de tijd te geven en hen technisch inhoudelijk als sparring partner uit te dagen om het maximale uit het project te halen.

Je rapporteert in deze functie direct aan de Manufacturing Manager. Maar je hebt een functie met veel vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid. De organisatie kent een platte structuur en je werkt nauw samen met alle afdelingen, zoals het Management Team, QA, R&D en productie. Met het Management Team en het engineering team bepaal jij prioriteiten in de projectplanning. Projecten bestaan voornamelijk uit de introductie van nieuwe productiemethodes, nieuwe productie machines, en het de introductie van nieuwe klanten in het bestaande product portfolio. Je communiceert met regelmaat de voortgang van de projecten naar MT, QA en productie teamleiders. Een brede en duidelijke communicatie zorgt voor een breed draagvlak en de aandacht op de juiste projecten in de organisatie. Jij hebt daarbij een duidelijke visie hoe productie engineering bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van het productieproces in de kwaliteit en efficiëntie. Je zorgt voor structuur en standaardisatie en je brengt daarmee de organisatie naar een hoger niveau.

Misschien ben je een techneut met leidinggevende kwaliteiten die toe is aan een volgende stap. Of een ervaren manager met een technische achtergrond. Een hard profiel is er niet, wij stellen competenties boven kennis en ervaring. Wel moet het volgende op jou van toepassing zijn:

WO werk-/denkniveau in een technische richting. Jij boekt resultaten door te luisteren naar jouw team en hen te motiveren het maximale uit projecten te halen. Jij weet de rest van de organisatie te prikkelen met een duidelijke visie. Door jouw gedrevenheid om leiding te geven ben jij al bekend met de basis vaardigheden communicatie technieken. Je bent actiegericht én je staat voor je mensen. Ondernemend, initiatiefrijk, positief en bevlogen. Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal uitstekend.
